It is the creation of artist Danny Scheible, who’s work is demonstrative both of his constant need to create, as well as his “epic” commitment to the work itself.  From his artist’s statement: My art is a test of will and endurance….  The greater endurance I can achieve the more I can make, the longer I can make, the more I will be able to make the next day. Making every day is important to me, and by doing so I make myself.”  His current installation, titled “Gnawledge”  is magnificently representative of this credo, consisting of a life-sized tree made of layered newspapers, surrounded by approximately 10,000 masking tape structures depicting various fantastical and natural elements.  Beautiful, evocative and breath-taking.   Through April 30th.  1100 65th Street  M-Thurs 8:30 – 5 pm, Fri 8:30 – 4 pm, Sat Noon to 4</description>
