Axis Gallery presents pictures of danny, a solo exhibition by new Axis member Erin Kaczkowski. The mixed media work in this exhibition constitutes an intimate and candid exploration of the intersecting realities of family life and life in a culture dominated by our relationships to personal technological devices. The written narratives and imagery featured in the work center on two beloved figures from the artist's life, her son Danny (b. 2020) and her late brother Danny (b.1981). The result creates a window into the ever-present overarching narratives of family, love, memory and loss.
