“Rock, paper, scissors” is the title of Axis artist Janice Nakashima’s new work. Rock is such an elemental part of our world. We think of it as dense, unmovable, and stable. In this series, using rock as a theme, Janice Nakashima explores our perceived notions of stability and fragility. Her work is mixed media on panels as well as some 3 dimensional installations.
About the Artist:
Janice has lived and worked in Sacramento for about 30 years and has been a member of Axis for about 10 years.
