Over the years Axis Gallery has gained a national reputation for having excellent jurors who view all work with serious consideration. There are juror awards, a catalogue to document the event and this year an added bonus of having several artists invited to exhibit a wider range of their work at Axis Gallery in December. The response to the 9th National has been enthusiastic with 359 artists from across the country sending in 1338 images for the juror to view.
This year we are very pleased that Jenny Gheith will be the juror for the 9th National Juried Exhibition. Jenny Gheith is assistant curator of painting and sculpture at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).
