Artist Website
It seems to me that the artist has something of a duty towards the society from which it often sets itself apart, and that is to shed some light on prevailing conditions. For me this would include the development of a healthy dose of skepticism – now especially. Is it really okay to do anything we want, just because we can? Are there rules here, natural laws that we could possibly be ignoring? I would say that my work reflects a deep and fundamental respect for the natural ordering and uniqueness of each element of life, and a personal exploration of the “rules” involved in a continuing healthy and reverent exploration of the process of creation/creativity.
